Due to the ongoing health risks associated with the spread of COVID-19, CLASP has altered our service delivery model. We are open and accepting new matters, but all lawyers and students are working remotely. Please do not come to our office. If you have a new matter, please call our office at 416-736-5029.
Community & Legal Aid Services Program (CLASP) is an interdisciplinary Student Legal Aid Service Society, with students from Osgoode Hall Law school and the School of Social Work at York University. CLASP provides legal support to individuals who cannot afford a lawyer.
Under the supervision of lawyers and the Community Outreach Counselor, students (called “Division Leaders”) provide client referrals, summary advice and representation. CLASP also offers social work services and community outreach services.
