Income Tax Clinics

Not sure where to start with your taxes? Don’t fret. The TD CEC, Canada revenue and Chartered Professional Accountants run workshops to help Black Creek residents in filing their taxes.

Individuals  who   do  not  file returns  are missing out on the social benefits that are included. It is not uncommon to prepare two years of returns at once. Individuals need to file a tax return in order to qualify (or continue to qualify) for the following social benefits:

  • Social assistance
  • The Guaranteed Income
  • Supplement  (GIS) for seniors
  • The Ontario Student Loan Program  (OSAP}
  • The Canada Child  Tax Benefit and GST Benefit
  • The Trillium Benefit

This year, clinics will be held at the York U- TD Community Engagement Centre, Yorkgate Mall on :

  • Thursday, March 2
  • Monday, March 6
  • Wednesday, March 8
  • Thursday, March 9
  • Monday, April 3
  • Friday, April 7
